You are a Neutral Double Triangle!

As a neutral, you can wear anything on the color wheel, but it’s typically best to go for softened or muted versions of a color instead of the brighter ones

  • Choose colors like dusty pink, jade green, cornsilk yellow or lagoon blue
  • For neutral colors, turn to off-whites, coffee, mid-range grays and black
  • Oversaturated colors like electric blue and magenta can overwhelm your neutral skin tone, but there’s one big exception to this: never be afraid to wear a bright, true red

With a double triangle body shape, these styles will flatter you:

    • Think fitted! Choose fitted versions of everything from your basic tee to formal blouses to accentuate your natural waistline
    • Form-fitting knits, wrap tops, peplum blouses, v-necks, round necks and boat necks are all good choices
    • Stay away from baggier, unstructured tops
      • You’ll look great in a classic trench, fitted blazers and cropped styles
      • Bomber jackets with elastic waistbands were made for you
        • Steer towards wrap dresses or fit & flares
        • You can also pull off an empire silhouette
        • If you want to wear a flowy style, just remember to belt it
        • Take a pass on baby-doll dresses
          • You’ll look amazing in about any bottoms you choose. High-waisted flares? Check. Low-rise hip huggers? Check. Skinnies? Check
          • Fitted jumpsuits with waist flattering styles also work, but stay away from cropped lengths and extra detailing
            • Skinny waist belts and necklaces are your best friends
            • Purses that have more structure work well with your body type
